Congratulatory message of the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan on the International Day of Labor and Workers’ Solidarity.
“Dear citizens,
I congratulate all of us on the International Day of Labor and Workers’ Solidarity.
The holiday is another opportunity to appreciate each of your contributions to the development, economic progress, and social well-being of our country. Your daily work is the solid foundation on which the stable, peaceful, and prosperous present and future of our state and statehood are built.
Work is not only a source of income; it is also one of the key conditions for self-expression, personal and professional growth, and the full realization of one’s own potential, regardless of everything. One of the state’s priorities is to ensure conditions in which every citizen has the opportunity for decent, safe, and creative work. For this purpose, policies aimed at developing the labor market, enhancing employees’ professional skills, increasing the competitiveness of vulnerable groups in the labor market, and promoting employment are consistently implemented.
The stable trend of creating hundreds of thousands of new jobs in recent years also significantly contributes to the growth of economic activity in our country, reducing unemployment and, in turn, poverty and extreme poverty indicators. For the first time in the history of the Third Republic, we are close to overcoming extreme poverty, which was achieved exclusively through work, and only thanks to work.
Dear citizens,
I am hopeful that responsibility, diligence, and creative approaches will continue to be the driving force of joint success.
I wish you good health, inexhaustible energy, and continued success in your work.
