After the solemn welcoming ceremony for the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, a private meeting between the Ministers of Defense of Armenia and Georgia was held, which was later expanded to include an expanded delegation.
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to the process and prospects for bilateral defense-sector cooperation were discussed.
The parties also discussed several issues related to regional security.
