The RA Government reports that today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Armenia, Olivier Decottignies.
The Deputy Prime Minister particularly emphasized the importance of French President Emmanuel Macron’s presence in Armenia on May 4 at the European Political Community (EPC) Summit, as well as on the following day, May 5, as part of his state visit.
Ahead of the visit, several issues on the agenda of bilateral relations were discussed in detail, including drinking water supply and sanitation, the French side’s involvement in the construction of the Sisian-Kajaran section of the North-South Road Corridor, educational cooperation, and other programs and initiatives of strategic importance.
Both sides emphasized the importance of the constructive cooperation established for the effective settlement of issues subject to agreement within its framework, as well as the systematic expansion of bilateral relations.
