Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced at a government meeting that over the past four years, approximately 60 hectares of green space have been created in Yerevan.
The work accomplished in the last four years exceeds that of the previous 22 years combined. When we say that 60 hectares is a crucial number, we must keep in mind that the Dalma Gardens are approximately 250 hectares. In fact, the project will bring significant changes to the urban environment,” the mayor said, adding that changes are also expected thanks to the Hrazdan Gorge greening program.
