Today’s guest on Radar-Zruts is Garegin Miskaryan, the president of the “+374” political self-determination club.
Referring to the pre-election phase that has begun in Armenia, Miskaryan noted: There are no political processes in Armenia. “There are processes with a political component, which we call elections. They are a small but important component of democracy in democratic states. Democracy is not only elections.”
According to Miskaryan, the process currently underway in Armenia is the political election.
“What is happening within the framework of apolitical elections can be characterized in different ways: both as a show, and as a direct struggle for power, and attempts to change spheres of influence or regional actors. In these elections, we, as a people, as a state, as a subject, are not represented in any way.”
