Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami did not rule out the possibility of holding larger-scale Armenian-Iranian military exercises.
“Considering the existing ties between the countries, including in the defense sector, such events may also take place in the future and be more extensive,” the ambassador said.
