On February 17, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Gert Jan Kopman, Director General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood Policy of the European Commission. The interlocutors discussed programs aimed at developing regional economic and transport connectivity, as well as issues of RA-EU cooperation in this regard.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Gert Jan Kopman exchanged views on the agendas of upcoming RA-EU high-level events and visits and on the work being carried out to ensure new tangible results in the development of the partnership.
Reference was made to initiatives aimed at continuously strengthening democratic resilience.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Gert Jan Kopman also exchanged views on regional developments, the dynamics and opportunities in the process of normalizing Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, and other issues of mutual interest.
