Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with US Deputy Secretary of State for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg.
Enterprise Armenia CEO Gohar Abajyan participated in the meeting.
The interlocutors discussed current and possible new initiatives aimed at the consistent development of the Armenia-US strategic partnership. It was emphasized, with mutual satisfaction, that the bilateral memorandums on cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence and semiconductors, signed in Washington on August 8, have provided a solid basis for cooperation, and that tangible manifestations are already evident.
The interlocutors expressed their willingness to continue active work to promote investments in high-tech cooperation between Armenia and the United States and, in general, to expand economic cooperation, taking into account the experience gained in these areas and the rapidly evolving environment.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Jacob Helberg touched upon other areas of mutual interest, in particular, the prospects for energy, the extraction and supply chains for critical minerals and rare earths, and infrastructure development.
