Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Khalil Shirgholami.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in fulfilling his essential mission. Mher Grigoryan emphasized the importance of developing relations with friendly Iran for Armenia.
The parties mutually emphasized the work of the intergovernmental commission operating between the two countries. Regional developments were also touched upon.
