Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s statements. The Ukrainian leader confirmed his readiness to meet at the level of leaders.
“We hear statements from Russia, and if this is a signal of their serious readiness to end the war with dignity and establish a truly lasting peace, and not just attempts to gain time for war and postpone sanctions, then Ukraine once again confirms its readiness to meet at the level of leaders at any time,” the Ukrainian president wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, America has suggested that Ukraine supports this initiative, and Russia’s readiness is needed.
