Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his social media pages:
“Dear representatives of the business community:
We all know the shortcomings in the field of governance, and no one denies them.
As a Government representative, I deal with many issues of concern to the business community through various letters. From my work with these applications, I have come to the conclusion that there is a need to address the problems and opportunities in the economic activity and investment environment, increase the efficiency of management, and reform priorities in a joint format of the Government, National Assembly, Local Self-Government, and Business Community and make joint decisions.
I intend to organize such a workshop shortly. I invite the heads of companies that paid 50 million drams and more in taxes in 2024 to participate. They are interested in sharing their ideas to make our environment more favorable for business.
I also invite the heads of organizations uniting the business community, including the SME community, to discuss the issues of concern to their members who do not have the opportunity to participate directly in the workshop.
Please send applications for participation in the workshop by February 28 by e-mail to [email protected], and indicate up to 3 questions related to current issues, the most mentioned of which will become part of the workshop agenda.
The workshop will be convened in April, and the invitees will be informed about the date and place in a working order.
