A trial is being held in the Tbilisi City Court against a group of people accused of embezzling large amounts of budget funds—former president of Georgia M. Saakashvili and Teymuraz Janashia, the former head of the particular security service.
Saakashvili stated that, according to his information, a subversive group of Russians invaded Georgia with “evil” intentions. He also noted that they are armed and obey the Russian army.
