The resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe states that during the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, Azerbaijan used the Pegasus spy program to intercept 12 persons, including officials, who were active in Armenia.
The resolution of the Assembly, in particular, states: “Azerbaijan also used Pegasus against journalists, owners of independent media, and political society activists. Recent reports reveal its use against 12 people working in Armenia, including government officials, which is an example of transnational targeted espionage.
