Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of the national holiday. The message states:
“Your Excellency,
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people, I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Italy on the occasion of the national holiday, Republic Day.
Armenian-Italian cooperation is distinguished by high-level political dialogue. I note with satisfaction that the volumes of bilateral trade turnover as well as Italian investments in Armenia are increasing year by year. Armenia is determined to bring economic relations with Italy to the level of political dialogue.
We emphasize cooperation with Italy on both bilateral and multilateral platforms, including cooperation within the EU framework.
I am sure that with joint efforts we will contribute to the strengthening of traditional Armenian-Italian friendly relations. I sincerely hope that in the near future we will have an opportunity to meet to discuss all agenda issues of mutual interest, as well as outline new prospects for bilateral cooperation.
I wish you new success in carrying out your responsible mission, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Italy.”
