The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala, stated that it is necessary to continue taking steps that will lead to a peaceful solution.
According to him, on this path, we should not consider obstacles and problems but, on the contrary, try to achieve lasting peace, “For that, we also need the other side, the Azerbaijanis. Goodwill is required from both sides. It is not that we will remain silent or not comment. We expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh; the EU made a statement, and we confirm that statement.
There is a call to ensure the population’s safety, security, and freedom of movement. We need to think about the future. I highly appreciate the peace-oriented perspective with which the Prime Minister of Armenia addresses this issue. This is the right approach. He can expect our support, the support of the EU.”
