RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan referred to normalizing relations with Azerbaijan.
In this context, he noted that within the framework of the international mechanism of the Baku-Stepanakert dialogue, the rights and security of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as their related issues, should be addressed and resolved.,“Of course, this group of problems is part of the big process of the RA-Azerbaijan settlement. It is not the first time that we are talking about this. We do not consider the general, final settlement, the establishment of long-term peace in the region without addressing the rights and security issues of the Nagorno-Karabakh people to be realistic.”
Mirzoyan also noted that the negotiation process was always uninterrupted, “We have several times exchanged proposals on the draft proposals for the peace treaty. We have had direct or mediated discussions, including with that document. Various partners have proposed peace and stability in the region to organize our meetings again. Now we have proposals for meetings; such meetings will take place shortly.”
