Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. The interlocutors referred to the humanitarian, environmental, and energy crisis created in Nagorno-Karabakh due to Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor.
The Prime Minister emphasized implementing the necessary steps by the Russian Federation to overcome it. At the same time, the Prime Minister insisted on the fact to the decision of the International Court of Justice of the United Nations regarding the unblocking of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan.
Issues related to implementing the tripartite agreements of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan leaders signed on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, and October 31, 2022, were discussed.
Thoughts were exchanged on the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
