Flora Martirosyan last departure ceremony will take today on December 11, at 12:00-14:00 in Aram Khachaturian concert hall.
Flora Martirosyan was one of the most prominent artists of Armenia whose sole aim was to let the world know the Armenian pure singing and the culture. Born in 1957 in Gyumri she graduated from the Music school named after Armen Tigranyan, Gyumri, later to continue her studies in Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas.
In 2002-2008 she funded and headed Burbank and Hollywood Komitas music schools in Los Angeles. She was also an organizer of a number of music competitions in Armenia.
Her “Never Again” campaign was aimed at making the world aware of the 1915 Armenian Genocide, the last concert of which was in Moscow, April 24, 2012.
Flora Martirosyan will always remain in the hearts of the Armenians.
