Today during the meeting with the journalists the Ombudsman Karen Andreasyan told he did not owe to the Republican party and the complaints to concrete political powers have nothing to flatter the RP.
Andreasyan stated he was grateful to the RP but never owed it. He was also thankful that there has not been any pressure over him since his first day of work to say or do things he never found correct.
Andreasyan also stated that no matter what constitutional amendments take place, the Ombudsman will never have a right to interfere with the investigation or the trial. The Ombudsman has no right in Armenia to interfere with these issues.
