“Armentel” company “Beeline Brand” was recognized as the most ecologically responsible company of Armenia in service sphere as a result of competition by the Republican Union of Armenian Employers. The jury consisting of representatives from RA ministry of Ecology, RA ministry of employment and social affairs, confederation of Workers’ unions and Republican Union of Armenian Employers estimating the projects by the companies, awarded the first prize of Green economy and green workplaces to “Armentel” company. The other winners were HSBC Bank Armenia and ACBA-Credit Agricloe bank.
The award ceremony took place during the conference organized by Republican Union of Armenian Employers. The UNO head of Yerevan office Dafina Gercherva, representatives of RA ministries, NGOs and ecological movements were present at the conference
Being socially responsible operator; “Armentel” pays attention to the ecological issues. “For years we have executed several programs on the environmental protection. We are happy to witness that the number of companies worrying about environment increases, and we are happier that our work was appreciated by the jury.”- mentioned the HR manager and administrative director of “Armentel” Liana Khachatryan.
We note that 40 companies competed for the award of Green economy and Green workplaces.
