Today Armenian officer Gourgen Margaryan would become 34 years old if not having been axed by Azerbaijani murderer Ramil Safarov in Hungarian capital. Gourgen’s friend, secretary of Defense Ministry Hayk Mukuchyan, who was with him in Hungary during the NATO trainings, called him “kind giant” during the press conference. “He looked like a kind giant, he was physically strong, but kind at the same time. He was supportive. Once he said, there is an Armenian woman, who wants to call home, let us give her the card to make a call.” – shared his memories Hayk Mukuchyan.
He was found aggrieved by the Hungarian court and now is consulting with the lawyers for turning to international courts and reestablishing justice.
After killing Gourgen Margaryan the murderer Safarov had planned to kill Hayk Mukuchyan as well, but the door of his room was locked.
Hayk Mukuchyan denied the talks spread by Azerbaijani party as if Armenians mocked the Azerbaijani in Budapest discrediting their flag.
“There weren’t actively participating in trainings, if we hadn’t seen them for some times, we wouldn’t even remember. First day when we greeted them, they asked “Are you from Armenia?”, then Safarov said in Russian «Мы братья» (we are brothers).
It’s an absolute lie that we mocked them. First of all there was no flag there. Several representatives of different nation have given testimony that there was nothing like that. At first Safarov gave true testimony hoping he will be sent to Azerbaijan. He had said no matter who he is, the most important was that he was Armenian, I want to kill an Armenian.”- told Hayk Mukuchyan adding that he is tool that did its job. “It’s a pity that there are many such tools, their system consists of such tools.
