RA Public Council Announcement for the transfer of Azerbaijani Armed Forces officer Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan by the Hungarian Authorities:
The Public Council strongly condemns the fact of transferring Ramil Safarov to Azerbaijan by the Hungarian authorities, an officer who brutally killed the Armenian Armed Forcsd officer G.Makarian in Budapest in 2004, on the basis of national hatred.
It is obvious that Budapest “sold” Ramil Safarov to Baku, and no justification or statement by the Hungarian Government can change that fact.
The Hungarian Government with this step allowed Armenians to doubt the European family advocating universal humanitarian values, and the connection to this course, as the family member openly violates its principles.
As for Azerbaijan, the first and serious concern has its community, as the state makes a hero a character which is nothing more than common criminal, who is ready to kill a sleeping man.
This shows Azerbaijan thinks like an animal, and there is no trace of humanity in their actions.
Any sensible and sound judgment in Azerbaijan cannot accept it. The higher authorities creating, promoting and standing behind “ramilsafarovs” show that they are ready for the most unreal offences and the risk of it should be realized not only by Armenia, but also the international community.
We will loosely follow the international community’s response, which we hope will not be similar with Hungarian authorities and their unnatural non civilized step.
