On Saturday, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan held consultations on the problems of the health sector with people relating to the field. The Prime Minister complained that this year “growth trends have lowered to 4.4 %” compared with the last year, in case that, according to him “in the health field rather serious activities have been implemented to increase the services and decrease the shadows.”
Tigran Sargsyan said rather roughly, “Funding is not reduced comparing with the previous years, besides the great insurance plan was introduced. These important factors contribute to the growth of GDP…”
It is known that “Prosperous Armenia” party is the target of his. Last week the spokesman of Prosperous Armenia party Tigran Urikhanyan announced that they welcome Tigran Sargsyan’s dismissal in any format.
Therefore, it is possible that the Prime Minister’s tough announcements to the health related statements are response to the above mentioned announcement from PAP.
Note that Harutyun Kushikyan is the Health Minister and member of “Prosperous Armenia” party, and also one of most powerful medical facilities, “Erebuni” medical centre, belongs to him.
