Four Armenians are arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly stealing personal data.
FBI reports, we speak about the use and stole of credit cards in the machine washing centers. The arrested people are; 42 year old Vardan Mkryan from Toluca Lake, 28 year old Vahe Harutyunyan from North Hollywood, 58 year old Khachik Karabajakyan and 24 year old Sedrak Karabajakyan from Oxnard.
After a long term investigation, in the result of which dozen of group members and partners were charged, the police found out that Vardan Mkryan is involved in criminal activities.
Mkryan was the head of several machine washing centers in Los Angeles and during 8 months of investigation, the police found out, how the accused bought fuel from fuel charging centers using credit card numbers, which had obtained fraudulently. The scheme includes data of 50 victims and 50 thousand dollar loss.
The defendants will appear before the distinct court of Los Angeles. If they are found guilty, they will face up 10 years of prison.
