Donald Trump has said he is disappointed with Putin and may cut the 50-day deadline for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.
The US president stated that, despite his good personal relationship with Vladimir Putin and several rounds of negotiations, when an agreement was close, Russia’s actions had undermined progress. Trump stressed that such steps as attacks on civilians are unacceptable. In this regard, he is considering the possibility of cutting the previously set 50-day deadline for reaching an agreement, as he believes that he already understands the possible outcome.
“I am very disappointed with President Putin. I will probably cut the 50-day deadline, because it is already clear what the response will be,” Trump said.
