Today, President Mahmud Abbas thanked the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachatryan, for his country’s recognition of the State of Palestine.
Abbas sent a message of thanks and appreciation to his Armenian counterpart, saying that Armenia’s recognition of Palestine expresses the country’s values and its leadership’s commitment to justice and belief in human rights.
“Your wise decision, consistent with international law, international legality, and UN resolutions, is a step forward in recognizing the right of the Palestinian people to their land, the need to end the Israeli occupation, autonomy, determination, sovereignty, and independence, and their dignity within the 1967 borders. , the certainty of respecting humanity and freedom like other peoples of the world,” President Abbas said.
