There are all signs to assert that Azerbaijan is preparing another military provocation, including in NK, and the developments of the situation raise questions that require an urgent answer regarding the activities of the Russian peacekeeping troops in NK, announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The RA Prime Minister also emphasized, “I must honestly say that RA is a convinced supporter of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Nagorno-Karabakh and a supporter of that presence. But it is unacceptable for us to become a silent witness to the depopulation of Nagorno-Karabakh, the more and more visible practice of the Russian peacekeeping troops. In any case, we must work closely with Russia and our other international partners to clarify these issues, prevent further escalation of the situation, and achieve a comprehensive settlement.”
Pashinyan also reaffirmed RA’s readiness and determination to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan, complete border delimitation, and open regional communications.
