Official sources report that Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili is ready to meet with President Saakashvili if there is necessity.
“This meeting may be held, if necessary, but must not be formal only because Saakashvili wants this,” Ivanishvili said at a press conference today.
The Prime Minister referred to cohabitation and highlighted that he recently met with the president of the Georgian National Bank.
“I had two meetings with a member of the old team – the president of the National Bank; we had a very fruitful discussion,” Ivanishvili said. “We discussed problems that exist in our relationship with the International Monetary Fund, and I even share his opinion.”
