“The Armenian National Congress” faction MP, head of the National Ethics Committee Nikol Pashinyan thinks that there is only one possible case of warm atmosphere between the government and the opposition.
“The atmosphere of warmth and friendship in Armenia is possible, if it is based solely on the law, any other way of friendly atmosphere or unity is not acceptable to me.” he said.
The MP found the “Republican” party member Arpine Hovhannisyan’s statement farce that there was some kind of agreement between the NA majority and the opposition on the draft of amendments and additions to the Ethics Committee.
“They have a parliamentary majority, so let them adopt a decision, I have my own position, our faction has its own position, let them accept any decision. Yesterday they were protesting that when we ask a question the interests of the government are being violated. I offer to change the law and ban the opposition to have the right to perform in the NA hall, “he said.
Note that today the National Assembly approved the first reading of the amendments to the Regulation Law initiated by the RPA members.
