I has been a long time that massive actions, clashes are going on in Syria between opposition and government entered Aleppo – the trade-industrial center of Syria. On sunrise armed forces of opposition reached the center of Aleppo. The clashes between the state army and opposition forces lasted several hours. Now Aleppo is controlled by the authorities.
In the interview with “1in.am News and Analysis” the press secretary of Aleppo episcopate Jirayr Reisyan reported the information adding that this does not mean that there is no danger. He says that people prefer staying inside, there is no panic, but the situation is insecure.
Jirayr Reisyan informed that gunshots were heard in Aleppo in the morning, but the situation was far more dangerous by sunrise.
According to him the authority forces have always controlled the situation and pushed back the rebels.
“But the fact that clashes have reached the center from the suburbs is already disturbing”, he noted.
Referring to the information about two killed Armenians, he said that they were not the soldiers of Syrian Army; they were voluntarily helping the actions of the authorities.
