Armenia and Azerbaijan are able to find a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem. This was announced by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko on December 11 at a meeting with journalists.
He expressed confidence that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is not beneficial to anyone, except perhaps for the policy of “divide and conquer”. As noted Lukashenko the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan “should sit down and solve the problem.”
“They must gather their political will so that people could live there normally. Neither Armenia nor Azerbaijan need scorched area. There is a solution of that question. I am convinced that it should be,” said the President of Belarus.
