During the days of severe earthquake rescuers came to Armenia from different countries, of whom we were jealous at that time, having no rescuers, and today we have rescuers, who even work in other countries. This was stated by the head of the national platform for disaster risk reduction Movses Poghosyan.
“You cannot prevent disasters, but you can live harmoniously with nature’s laws. Why should we fight, if the nature will creep, so let’s build the way it won’t be wrecked, make such calculations not to disrupt everything. Let’s not promote disaster. Reduction of external risk needs to be done every day, “said Movses Poghosyan.
According to him, if we take into account disaster risk management, there won’t be losses. “Disaster always takes place there, where we do not expect. Let’s be ready. Each of us faces disastrous risks every day. Let’s just make up our plans in a right way.”
