Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan participated in the 20th anniversary of membership of Armenia with the World Bank.
Welcoming the participants on behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister said. “It is hard to imagine Armenia’s economic reforms and the structural changes without the active participation of the World Bank. It is no secret that the most important problem for countries is to recruit the potential of reforms and direct the implementation of such changes, which the citizens would see in their lives. The World Bank’s mission is to help multiply the existing potential to get tangible results. There is hardly an area where we have not received substantial support from the World Bank. I am glad that we do not have any failed program with the World Bank. I would like to reiterate that the Republic of Armenia and the World Bank are reliable partners and we are very keen to continue implementing our collaboration and efficiency programs in Armenia.”
The Prime Minister said that took place with an interesting discussion with the World Bank team on bilateral cooperation in the future.
