Starting from today, December 4, PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan left for Brussels to have several official meetings.
As reported, he will have meetings in European Parliament, European Commission, EU’s foreign affairs agency officials, the leaders of the factions in the European Parliament, as well as with the Armenian community.
We should note that there are rumors in our political field that Tsarukyan is going to be nominated in the upcoming presidential elections and in order to find out more details about it our News Agency interviewed Vahe Enfiajyan, responsible for PAP youth branch.
To the question whether the final decision belongs to Tsarukyan or to the PAP, Enfiajyan responded:
“There is a huge difference between what we want and what wants our leader. Of course the final word belongs to him but taking into account the opinion of our society we have all the chances in the elections. But all these must be discussed in the party but the most important and final word belongs to our leader.” Said Enfiajyan.
Our journalist recalled that according to the Republicans the first place is theirs and asked PAP MP to comment on it.
According to MP if they decide to participate in the upcoming presidential elections then they will surely compete for the first place.
In the end Enfiajyan commented on the announcement that there is tension in the PAP youth branch concerning Robert Kocharyan’s niece Irina Kocharyan, and according to MP the information is untrue.
