Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili said that the Georgian government is not going to act according to the statements that are made overseas. He said this commenting on the article of the “Washington Post”, which sharply criticized the revanchist policies of the current government.
“Saakashvili manages to somehow take out incorrect information abroad. We have not been able so far to reveal the information of Bokeria service [Georgia’s National Security Council]. 16 million is spent from the budget; there is a signature stamp “confidentially” on them. We have a very strong suspicion that such libels are financed by this money. We will not act by any request that is made overseas. We are the Government of Georgia and possess the situation in Georgia very well. Georgian society is well informed and we will act according to law. We begin to restore the justice. Now national money will be spent on the people, and not on such articles,”- said Ivanishvili.
