Official sources report that during ten weeks Russia sent about 240 tons of money to Syria.
According to obtained documents, Syrian Air Force Ил-76 aircraft moved from “Vnukovo” airport to Damascus airport each 30 tons of greenbacks, the value and currency of which wasn’t reported.
Information proving that the planes reached the target area state the pictures and recorded conversations of the pilots, as well as flight control systems.
Money conveyors Ил-76 did not conduct direct flights, through Turkey, but by an “indirect” way, through Iraq, Iran and Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that Syria strongly lacks cash money, which is related to the spring uprising started in 2011.
