Georgian Rustavi2 News Agency reports that Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili had an interview with Reuters and announced that “starting from today” he will work closely with his bitter political rival, President Mikheil Saakashvili.
“Starting from today, I personally will address and have relations towards Saakashvili and the previous government the way Georgian culture … deserves,” he said, adding “We will not address them the way they deserve, as they have acted against us as the Georgian opposition”.
As reported, President Saakashvili has also said he is ready for cooperation with his political opponent. Saakashvili expressed his hope that the cooperation would take place during his visit to Brussels.
