Georgian media reports that during a visit to Georgia, OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities, Knut Vollebaek, is holding meetings with members of the new government.
AS reported, along with representatives of the executive power, he will meet with those from the parliamentary majority and minority.
Vollebaek stressed that the aim of the visit is to convince the government to continue to work actively for the protection of minority rights:
“Special attention will be paid to the level of minorities’ participation in the political and social life of Georgia, “he said.
