“There are not many tourists at hotels and rest-houses of NKR” noted Tigranuhi Aleksanyan, inside tour manager of hotels.am in her interview to “1in.am News and Analyses”.
Ms. Aleksanyan stated the tour prices are the same both in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh being differentiated between cheap and expensive hotels and rest-houses. Average hotel price in NKR for two persons would sum to 17 thousand AMD; in certain cases it’s possible to find prices starting from 6 thousand AMD per person for a night stay. Aleksanyan as well pointed to the fact that though interested in visiting NKR, Armenians usually reject the idea because of the distance.
Few prices for NKR hotels, are in case, presented below: “Avan Shushi Plaza”-11,5 thousand AMD per person, 18 thousand for a double room: “Shushi Grand Hotel”-single room goes for 19 thousand AMD, double costs 25 thousand, family suit is 48 thousand. Prices at “Armenia” hotel in NKR start from 24 thousand AMD, while “Shushi” hotel remains one of the cheapest- 6 thousand for a room.
