Vanadzor incumbent mayor Samvel Darbinyan already has Armenian Republican party’s support for the mayor election which will take place in fall.
This information was given to “1in.am News and Analyses” by Samvel Darbinyan himself who added. “The party has already made its decision and it is positive; Republican Party is on my side.”
The mayor rejected to answer other questions concerning the elections. “I don’t like those types of sassy things. I don’t like interviews; I will not say anything in advance. On August 16, when the candidates are chosen and I will know about their projects, only then I will speak”.
But still the mayor was willing to answer the question about the Republican party’s continual support him for already 13 years.
“I don’t like to talk about what I am doing or have done, let the people see and understand what I have done, I don’t like appraising myself so as it will be clear why the Republican party is on my side.”
