“Hraparak” writes that “Armavia” reports about cancelling the first additional Erevan-Aleppo flight because it could not sell all the tickets.
“But yesterday one additional flight was carried out. According to “Armavia” 47 people arrived from Aleppo to Yerevan. Why so few? Because instead of the previously decided “Boing”, that could transfer more than 100 people, a smaller plane was sent to Aleppo. “Armavia” says this is accounted for by the fact that there are no people leaving for Aleppo from Yerevan. Yesterday the flight was postponed for this very reason; “Armavia” hoped that the tickets from Yerevan to the war region of Aleppo would be sold.
“Armavia” also informed that the Government of RA didn’t have any material participation in organizing the flights and did not compensate for flying an empty airplane from Aleppo.”
