Tonight Nor Gyugh district of Aleppo was in fires. As a result of clashes, in the suburbs bombs hit Armenian-inhabited Nor Gyugh as well which and afterwards the district was in awe and panic for hours, reported the representative of Berio Armenian Episcopate in Aleppo Zhirayr Rayisyan in the conversation with “First Armenian News and Analysis”.
The fire that was caused by the explosions badly hurt the buildings and the cars. But as Zhirayr Rayisyan informed the main loss was the death of the inhabitants of Nor Gyugh Hasmik Kirakosyan and Barsum Barsumyan.
“Besides the victims we had 7-8 injured, some of them with bad injuries were taken to hospital, the rest were given emergency help and returned to their homes. Armenian young people of Ambulance took measures helping the injured and taking the victims out of their homes. The other part of them was busy extinguishing the fire.”- reported Zhirayr Rayisyan.
By his account, till tonight there were quite stable nights, but after the explosions people are again in panic. Rayisyan reported that these days the clashes were going on in Bostan Pasha district. According to recent news, a building was bombed in Suleymanie district.
