Kremlin press-secretariat announced the meeting of president Serzh Sargsyan with Vladimir Putin on August 8 in the framework of Sargsyan`s working visit to Russia. The presidents shall have discussion concerning cooperation in political, economic, trade and humanitarian issues. Russia is one of the main trading partners of Armenia, as well one of the most important investors in the country: investment in 2012 comprised 2,8 billion US dollars, while trade turnover closed to 434,8 million.
The issue of mutual cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the framework of EurAzEC integrative processes, (in particular in structures of CIS and CSTO) as well issues of international importance and situation in the South Caucasus shall be part of the agenda of the visit.
