Azerbaijani media, citing the announcement of Nadir Azmamedov, reports that Azerbaijan Railways are negotiating with Russian Railways on the return of Azerbaijani carriages.
“The return of our carriages is a subject of discussion with Russian party” noted Azmamedov and added “due to sending of the carriages operating in directions of Moscow and St.Petersburg for overhaul, Russian Railways carriages started to function instead.”
50 carriages of Azerbaijani Railways were sent to Ukraine for overhaul, due to lack of technologies for overhaul of passenger carriages in Azerbaijan.
According to Azmamedovs, 15 of 50 sent carriages have already been received.
