On September 28 the RA Court of Appeal, presided by Judge Armen Danielian, will examine complaints of young activists of the ANC Tigran Arakelyan, Artak Karapetyan, Sargis Gevorgyan and David Kiramijyan against the judgment of the Court of First Instance.
“Pastinfo” reports that their lawyer Stepan Voskanyan appeal to reverse the judgment taken in Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts of the court, presided by Judge Gagik Poghosyan on July 20, and make acquitted verdict.
Note that the court sentenced the ANC youth from 2 to 6 years of imprisonment. Tigran Arakelyan was found guilty in a court judgment for violence and hooliganism against the government, and Artak Karapetyan for dangerous non-violence and hooliganism against a representative of authorities, Sargis Gevorgyan and David Kiramijyan for hooliganism.
All 4 defendants are charged on August 9, 2011 for the case of the incident with the police.
