Famous pianist Evgeni Kissin is in Yerevan in the framework of 13th Yerevan Perspectives International Music Festival. He will perform at Aram Khachaturian concert hall on September 27th.
The pianist said that he is very happy to be in Armenia for the first time in 28 years. He confessed that never visits Turkey because they didn’t accept the fact of Armenian genocide. The pianist said that “Yerevan festival” already sounds trustful.
Kissin was born in 1971 in Russia in the family of Jews. In 2000 and 2010, he was awarded with Grammy. The founding president of the 13th international festival, Stepan Rostomian noted that “Armenian perspectives” has really helped Armenia after the earthquake.
