Jirayr Sefilyan, commander of the “Shushi” special battalion and the participant of the Artsakh War, has written on his Facebook page that Russian border guards must be withdrawn from Armenia and the border protection must be given only to Armenian Border guards.
According to him our nation doesn’t know the reasons why Russians have their military base in our country and stressed that they do it only for their own purposes. “I want to note that the Russian military base consist of 102th military base and keeps the safety of Armenia’s border. I want all of you to know that the major costs of that Russian military base are covered by the Republic of Armenia. We do need a support, but the fact is that we have become kind of “slaves” for Russia, since by that military base they control almost all our country. That’s why I stress that Russian border guards must be withdrawn from Armenia and the border protection must be given only to Armenian Border guards” was written on the Facebook page.
