Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Minister Natig Aliyev noted that Caspian gas will be sufficient to fill gas transportation infrastructure and ensure gas supply to Europe. At the Oil, Gas and Media conference currently held in Azerbaijan, Aliyev noted that “in this case the question is about the gas not only from Azerbaijan, but also from Turkmenistan, which seeks to ensure access of its own gas to Europe”. As Trend reports Transportation of gas from Central Asia, in particular from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan could become reality by constructing Trans-Caspian gas pipeline, which could be one of the links of the “Southern Gas Corridor”. Accordingly, this will enable Azerbaijan to become a transit country along with exporting country.
