We should recall that Armenians held a protest rally against Safarov’s extradition in Moscow. Slogans against Hungary and Azerbaijan were chanted in the rally of Armenian Diaspora in Moscow. The flags of Russia, Israel, Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic were raised in the square. About 400-500 people participated in the rally. The rally lasted hour and a half.
Vladimir Zhirinovski ,chairman of Russian Liberal and Democratic Party, made the following speech during the protest action:
“The salvation way of the Caucasus is to create Russia-Armenia military union. Russia must provide Armenia with all modern weapons. S-300, S-400 missiles and the other powerful weapons should be given disinterestedly to Armenia. Russia must turn Armenia into leader of the Caucasus. Russia must recognize Nagorno-Karabakh as an independent country. It is time for Russia to say final word in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Russia must support Armenia”.
Zhirinovski expressed his gratitude to Armenian Diaspora in world and Russia for their assistance to the Liberal Democrat Party: “Armenian Diaspora always supports Russia. At present, you support both “Yedinaya Rossiya” and Liberal Democratic Party. We express our gratitude for this support.”
