Russian weekly “Argumenti I Fakti”published an article titled “ Is U.S. to be blamed for escalation around Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”. The article quoting its sources touched upon Gurgen Margaryan’smurder by Ramil Safarov and unveiled several facts unknown before. The newspaper reports that the Hungarian government is very concerned about the criticism voiced in Armenia and by the international community on “Safarov’s issue”. There is information that Hungary regularly makes such extraditions. Every year Hungary sends home 6-8 people, sentenced by the Hungarian court. And Safarov’s extradition took place according to the usual scheme.
“If a new war for Nagorno-Karabakh starts, it will be significantly Budapest’s fault. Ramil Safarov’s return home helped Ilham Aliyev to raise his reputation in his homeland. However, Baku is discontent with Budapest.”-notes the author. Furthermore, the article informs that Washington succeeded to draw the arrows towards his “junior partner”. It became known that before the tragedy the Hungarian intelligence services informed Americans that Safarov visited a store to buy an ax.
